The Old Schoolhouse Middleton, Belford:
This project involved the installation of new bullnose steps and opening up and repairing the original rose window, installing new stained glass.
Amble Memorial Tower and East Cemetery Spire:
Repointing of these structures with hydraulic lime mortar.
Clifton Farmhouse:
New extension to matching existing building and new dressed boundary wall.
The Gate Lodge:
This is a new build holiday cottage in The Northumberland Park. Because of its location all tooling and stone had to match existing buildings. This is why one elevation is constructed in two different styles.
North Charlton New Build Farmhouse:
This project was the construction of a large Farmhouse in coursed Dukes sandstone, incorporating a 6m semi-circular arch and bay detailing.
Tranwell Sunroom:
This project was the construction of a new entrance in new ashlar stone. The walling has moulded and tooled coursing.
Edglingham Sunroom:
This sunroom involved border and punch tooling new quoins, which then had to course exactly in to each other owing to the tight masonry panels.
Barterbooks - Alnwick:
This project involved hand carving from scratch a new stone arch to replicate the existing arches in this famous victorian railway station, forming a new cafe.
Beale Bank - Warkworth:
Conversion of smallholding into contemporary family home.
Old Sawmill - Alnwick:
Conversion and extension of 19th century sawmill to modern cottage.
Police Cottages - Embleton:
Timber framed new build with whinstone and sandstone detailing matching existing police house, forming holiday accommodation.
Stable Cottage - Dunstan Hall, Craster:
Conversion of stable in the grounds of Dunstan Hall forming holiday accommodation.

Morpeth Portico:
New hand carved portico and steps, replacing existing surround.
Hartlaw House:
Lime repointing and lintel replacement to front elevation. Installation of internal feature ashlar wall and carved door surrounds.

Carve and install new stone window surrounds and lime repointing to property.
Lisburn Street Alnwick:
Stone replacement. We are delighted to have received the "Gordon Smith Award" from Alnwick Civic Society for this work. .
St. Johns Church, Spittal, Berwick.
This project involved the conservation and repairs of the West and Southern windows.
West Window
The stonework was gently washed down. Old cement rich repairs and pointing was carefully raked back and removed. As the structural integrity of the stone was still intact, the original profile of the masonry was reconstructed. This was done by a process called "plastic repair" using a lithumix lime based colour pigment matched mortar. Finally the stonework was completely repointed with lime mortar.
Southern Windows
In the case of the four southern windows the following processes were employed. Old cement rich repairs and pointing was raked back and removed. Dependant on condition existing masonry was left to weather or plastic repaired to original profile. Where the stonework had lost its structural integrity a like for like replacement stone was required, handcarved to match the existing exactly.
In this case two mullions and one central "Y" segment were replaced. Finally the windows were completely repointed using lime mortar.
